The Hip Hop ConnXion (HHC) is globally known and respected as one of the top hip hop dance companies in the USA. The HHC Chicago HQ main branch was formed in March 1999 by Suavé. The HHC Michigan University branch was formed in December 2006 in a collaboration with the already existing WMU dance company, Rhythmic Soul Project, hence being called, Hip Hop ConnXion-The Rhythmic Soul Project. On September 17th, 2009 it officially turned into Hip Hop ConnXion Michigan.

The Hip Hop ConnXion Family is a professional dance troupe of all ages, sex and color each striving towards one common goal…TO INSPIRE! The company has a definitive mission statement which is, “Our Future Is Here Today” (Click on the “Mission” button for a full description). Its primary goal is to inspire others to be the best they can be and educate our youth to make positive choices by being positive role models within the community.

The HHC has performed all over the country opening up for artists such as Ludacris and Chris Brown to name a few, and dancers have appeared in multiple music videos, movies and television shows. The HHC has also performed at the highest level competitions taking high honors at events such as the World Hip Hop Championships.

There are also satellite branches around the USA (collectively called the HHC Family). The Hip Hop ConnXion main company is the HHC Chicago HQ branch which is jointly ran out of Wheeling, Bloomingdale and Aurora, all in Illinois. The other satellite branches are in Downtown Chicago (also known as Primo/Downtown) and in Bloomington, Indiana at Indiana University.

The HHC continues to spread its mission by opening up more branches across the united states and eventually around the world.
