The Hip Hop ConnXion (HHC) is globally known and respected as one of the top hip hop dance companies in the USA. The HHC DOWNTOWN branch was originally formed in February, 2007 in a collaboration with two companies, Pure Renditionz & The Collective along with open auditions. The company was put on sabbatical in April 2017. HHC Downtown was reinstated in August 2017 and merged with the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) based dance company called Primo. The company is currently called Hip Hop ConnXion Primo (HHC Primo or HHC Downtown).
The Hip Hop ConnXion Family is a professional dance troupe of all ages, sex and color each striving towards one common goal…TO INSPIRE! The company has a definitive mission statement which is, “Our Future Is Here Today” (click on the “Mission” button for a full description). Its primary goal is to inspire others to be the best they can be and educate our youth to make positive choices by being positive role models within the community.

The HHC has performed all over the country opening up for artists such as Ludacris and Chris Brown to name a few, and dancers have appeared in multiple music videos, movies and television shows. The HHC has also performed at the highest level competitions taking high honors at events such as the World Hip Hop Championships.

There are also satellite branches around the USA (collectively called the HHC Family). The Hip Hop ConnXion main company is the HHC Chicago HQ branch which is jointly ran out of Wheeling, Bloomingdale and Aurora, all in Illinois. The other satellite branches are in Bloomington, Indiana at Indiana University, and Kalamazoo, Michigan at Western Michigan University.
The HHC continues to spread its mission by opening up more branches across the united states and eventually around the world.
