Hip Hop ConnXion/Hip Hop Force classes taught by qualified HHC HQ instructors are offered at a few different locations. If you are a total beginner we advise you take either the 12+ level classes at Synergy in Bloomingdale or contact Dream at the Aurora location for classes that will fit your level.

 

If you have taken slightly more dance and you consider yourself at a fairly high level, and you are looking to be in the company, then the Adv/Pro level classes may be ideal for you. We always advise to dance at your level instead of trying to join the highest level. There is a popular dance misconception that if you dance at the highest level and challenge yourself then you will get better quickly. This, in our opinion, doesn’t prove to be entirely accurate, We feel that if you dance at a higher level than your skill dictates, you will not grow as quickly as you would like because you end up spending too much time playing catch-up opposed to actually perfecting and refining the skills you are being taught.

 

We find that dancers grow fastest when they are understanding the choreography and the style at the correct pace. This helps better with memory as well as understanding the style.
