"Back Into Time"
The Hip Hop ConnXion HQ is recognized as one of the top professional dance companies in the country. The Headquarters which is considered the main branch is located jointly in Bloomingdale and Aurora. They are also mentors to the HHC Primo branch at UIC. The HHC HQ dancers have appeared in music videos and movies, opened up for artists such as Chris Brown and performed at places like the United Center for the Chicago Bulls. They have taken top honors in major national competitions such as Hip Hop International, but they primarily focus on shows that help to inspire others. The mission statement of the Hip Hop ConnXion is, “Our Future Is Here Today”.

MOVEMENT REVOLUTION DANCE CREW
"X-Men"
Movement Revolution Dance Crew (MRDC) was founded in 2010 by Chicago native Monternez “Monte” Rezell. As Artistic Director Monte takes street dance to another level by integrating the street culture into concert dance; all while paying tribute to the founders and originators of the hip hop culture. MRDC performs street dances, club dances and social dances from the hip hop culture keeping the original classic hip hop flavor and mixing it with contemporary styles.

M.A.D.D. RHYTHMS is a phenomenal TAP dance collective whose “SOLE” purpose is to spread the Love and Joy of TAP worldwide. What started as Bril Barrett & Martin Dumas III’s formula for giving back, is now a full-fledged performing arts company, quickly gaining a reputation for representing the true essence of tap: RHYTHM! XQuizit is made up of 35 undergraduate students who work hard to craft original choreography for the team in their own unique style. This group has performed at events in and around SLU's campus, various exhibitions in the Midwest, and hosts an annual showcase during the Spring Semester. Firstly, thank you to the Harold Washington Cultural Center for allowing us to rent and use this facility to host THE ONE 2023.
