Acknowledgements
Firstly, thank you to the Harold Washington Cultural Center for allowing us to rent and use this facility to host THE ONE 2025.
Also, special thanks to all of the people who helped behind the scenes leading up to and volunteering for this show. This would not have been as smooth without your help.
I also want to acknowledge Bril Barrett from MADD Rhythms who has helped immensely with locking down the location for us and being an amazing liaison between the theater and myself.
Thank you again to all the companies and company leaders for helping to bring the community together by participating in this show. Hopefully this event will be the catalyst to help other groups continue to grow and inspire others to do the same! The day you stop growing is the day you cease to exist as a person of influence.
Last but not least, thank you to my Hip Hop ConnXion Family for continuing to share my vision and goals and see it through. The philosophy of, “It’s not about who you beat, it’s about who you inspire:” holds so true. Keep inspiring and you too will help to change the state of not only the dance community, but the world as a whole.
Suavé
