Servin Fysh Dance Company was Created in 2016 and has continued to be a safe haven for members of the LGBTQIAS2+ community along with all who may share the passion for dance. Allowing all of its members to be as free as they would please, we still aim to nurture and train dancers in styles varying from hip hop to even jazz. I want us to be an example for people in the LGBTQIAS2+ community to not to be afraid of the world and to help change the world’s views towards us -- to keep us from hiding. There are a lot of LGBTQIA2S+ people who are talented out in the world and they’re probably afraid of using their talents and the Gifts that God has blessed them with because of what society has to say about their life and how they live their life. we hope to spread our message of inclusivity as well as genuine positivity.

Acknowledgements
Firstly, thank you to the Harold Washington Cultural Center for allowing us to rent and use this facility to host THE ONE 2026.
Also, special thanks to all of the people who helped behind the scenes leading up to, and volunteering for this show. This would not have been as smooth without your help.
I also want to acknowledge Bril Barrett from MADD Rhythms who has helped immensely with being an amazing liaison with the theater.
Thank you again to all the companies and company leaders for helping to bring the community together by participating in this show. Hopefully this event will be the catalyst to help other groups continue to grow, and inspire others to do the same! The day you stop growing is the day you cease to exist as a person of influence.
Thank you to THE ONE Committe for their tireless work helping to produce the show with 6 months of preparation. Without you, none of this would be possible,
Last but not least, thank you to the Hip Hop ConnXion Family for continuing to share my vision and goals and see it through. The philosophy of, “It’s not about who you beat, it’s about who you inspire:” holds so true. Keep inspiring and you too will help to change the state of not only the dance community, but the world as a whole.
Suavé
